Lakes and Furness Folk dance

Who we are and what we do

Lakes and Furness Folk is the umbrella organisation for folk dancing in the UK Lake District and Furness areas. Throughout the year we organise a variety of folk dances. If you are visiting the lake district then you are very welcome to drop in and enjoy a friendly welcome and a good dancing. Most of the dances that we organise take place during the afternoon, usually with a "Jacob's Join" - a shared meal to which everyone brings something.

From January 2017 dances will be on Wednesday afternoons.

Download the 2016 - 2017 programme card for printing

The programme cards are arranged 4-up on an A4 sheet, print one side, then flip the sheet over and print again. You can then cut the sheet into 4 double-sided copies.
